I’m just an ordinary girl with dreams really…
As an English graduate and teacher I have read my fair share of books, but my all time favourite author has always been Jane Austen. Her words of wisdom on life through her characters,and most of all love have inspired many. Most people I’m sure have studied or have heard of Austen’s novel ‘Pride and Prejudice’ ( if you haven’t… I 100% recommend it) I’ve literally watched every version of the film, but in comparison to the words on those pages- there just is no comparison.
To be honest I’m not one of those hopeless romantic people or an overly affectionate person.. actually anyone that knows me know that I’m quite the opposite. However, every girl (including myself) will admit that they have at a time in their life imagined themselves in the perfect dress with their Mr Darcy saying I do..
I’m sure that most of you have a browse at engagement rings whilst walking by the jewellery shops.. I know myself that I cannot help browsing online at those beautiful diamonds dreaming of a Tiffany blue box. What girl could resist?
But one can dream after all…
I have never been interested in beauty or make up or anything like that… I’m not even big into fashion! I’m just an ordinary girl with dreams…big dreams…and one day I hope to succeed in achieving them.
One Perfect Day…
We all hope to get married someday and for me personally, that day has to be absolutely perfect.. it has to be meticulously planned and every fine detail must be right. Its meant to be the happiest day of your life… so in my mind there’s no harm in starting early and researching it years in advance 🙂
Thats where I got the idea for this site/blog… it’s like my very own unique personal scrapbook with ideas and inspiration and images and reviews and information on all things wedding… and best of all I’d love to share it all with you!
